Introducing Beaxy: The All-in-One Cryptocurrency Exchange

2017 was a huge year for cryptocurrency. Going from near obscurity to mainstream attention in the span of less than one year is quite a feat for any emerging technology. Those that truly believe in the power of the blockchain might say they saw this coming, but regardless of how you feel about this transformational technology it’s hard to reflect on the past year and say you knew that someone would be shilling Bitcoin live on Capitol Hill.

While we all know the “price” of Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies has been extremely volatile up to this stage, we don’t know exactly how this phenomenon will disrupt current markets in the long run. During this incubation period for crypto we should expect to see many brilliant projects rise out this new blockchain movement, and — while some may fail —the winners in the cryptosphere are likely going to reshape the way we live our lives on a day-to-day basis. Not unlike the way the internet has changed the way we consume media, process transactions, and access services.

The implications for successfully integrating this “Trust Layer” of internet technology at a scalable level will be massive and it is our belief that cryptocurrency exchanges will play an integral role in this mission. Our vision is to create a convenient, secure, all-in-one platform that helps to facilitate a world where cryptocurrencies are as accessible as fiat currencies.

Unfortunately, exchanges up to this point have been less than ideal for the average trader. Exorbitant fees, confusing user interfaces, little or no customer support, and even downright refusal to register new accounts all have been issues the community has had to deal with at one point or another. As most of us at Beaxy have been active traders for some time now, we have become very familiar with these challenges, so working to build an exchange that tackled these issues while remaining transparent was a no-brainer for us.

That, in essence, is the goal for the Beaxy team. We were brought together via a cryptocurrency Slack channel so we find it paramount to serve the community that helped us get to this point in the first place. Beaxy will be an exchange with powerful financial tools for seasoned traders and professional investors. It will also be an exchange where newcomers can learn the ropes of the rapidly evolving blockchain domain and feel comfortable executing trades on their own — armed with all the information and resources you might need to succeed. Preparing for Takeoff — A Quick Look at Beaxy’s Features and Where We’re Headed

These are not all of the features that will be present on the Beaxy platform, but rather a few of our highlights in the interest of keeping this post short. If you like what you see head over to our newly redesigned site to learn more!

Loyalty Program: Users holding BXY on our platform will be rewarded with 20% of transaction fees generated by the exchange. This will be distributed among all BXY holders. We are committed to providing a great experience for crypto traders everywhere and we want to reward you for being committed to us.

Coin Staking: If you lock in your BXY tokens on our exchange you will receive up to a 25% discounted trading fee. This can be used in tandem with our other feature offering a 50% discount on fees when you pay with BXY. So, if you choose to stake your tokens AND pay fees with BXY you can receive a maximum discount of 62.5% on all trades!

24/7 Support: We want to be the customer support champion of exchanges. All tickets will be answered within 24 hours. We are planning to offer Live Chat support in the future and will staff at least 3 separate offices around the world in order to compensate for time zone differences.

Referral Program: Allows users to invite friends and family and receive 10% of their transaction fees for the lifetime of their account. The referred user will receive lower fees for a limited period (60 days) — a win-win for both parties. We are aware that some exchanges have offered referral programs only to change their model down the road. We pledge to never reduce the referral commission you receive.

Fiat Deposits: You will be able to deposit to your account through wire and ACH. Instant deposits will also be available for approved accounts! This amount will be unique for each user and determined by our risk management team.

Some important notes:

-Not all of these features will be made available at the official time of launch. Instant fiat deposits, for example, will take some time before we have all the permits ready to offer this feature to the public. We will roll out certain locations as they become available.

-Uncertainty in the marketplace will prevent us from working with US customers during our ICO. We plan on being fully compliant with the US legal system after policy decisions surrounding cryptocurrency are made. While US residents cannot participate in our ICO, they will still be able to use our exchange.

-We will be launching a Bounty Program which will allow you to earn BXY by helping us spread the word about our project. US residents will be allowed to participate in this program. We will be detailing this program in a separate announcement.
